April 18, Savannah Georgia

Today was a trip down memory lane.  We have visited Savannah, Georgia in the past, but we just had to do it again.  We were fetched from Savannah Oaks RV Park by a bus and taken into town, where we boarded the Savannah Trolley bus.  This enables one to tour the entire town and hop on and off at will. We did a complete tour and then chose the parts we wanted to see again.  Lunch was at Five Guys, a delicious burger.  The last picture shows a very long line of people.  I love ice cream but not enough to stand in a line that long. Yes, folks that is the line of people waiting for the best ice cream ever, so we were told.
We had to be back at the bus depot by 4.00pm for our journey home.  Well that turned out to be quite a harrowing experience.  Instead of the little closed in bus that fetched us, we boarded a Savannah Trolley Bus which isn't closed in, no seat belts and off we went onto the freeway with a howling wind. Quite scary, but thankfully we got back safely.

Tomorrow we continue down the east coast of America.
